Annotations

Inline annotations are here — select any text in a Spec, ADR, Brief, or Contract and leave a comment anchored directly to the passage.

What you can do

• Quote-anchored comments — highlight a sentence, click, and comment. Your note stays pinned to that exact text.
• Threaded replies — discuss inline with your team; replies are nested under each annotation.
• Resolve & reopen — mark a comment thread as resolved once it’s addressed; reopen if needed.
• Live highlight — hover an annotation to see the quoted passage light up in the document.

Why it matters

Design specs and ADRs are living documents. Annotations let reviewers leave feedback exactly where it belongs — no more “see line 42” in a separate chat thread.
